Instructors and Coaches Photo by Gary Holstein   If you are at least 16 years old, you can become a Basic certified instructor; and if 18 years old--an Intermdiate certified instructor. Check the link on the right for course schedules. Otherwise, you can contact a certified coach in your area to assist with the club or to train archers.   High-Performance Coaches USA Archery has trained a number of advanced-certified coaches to be especially familiar with teaching the BEST system (Bio-mechanically Efficient Shooting Technique) to archers. The link to the right will show a listing of these coaches located in different parts of the country.   USA Archery Level 3-5 Coaches Directory USA Archery posts contact information of the current advanced level 3-5 coaches. COntact the coach of your choice for advise or mentoring. Many of these coaches train archers in their regions and are happy to assist with training JOAD archers. Many are also linked with local certified instructors (Basic and Intermediate) who may be able to asist with a JOAD club.
